In today's episode we look at the concept of person-first language and how this simple shift in language can help us to move past the roadblock of sexuality as we struggle to love and communicate with a child who is same-sex attracted.  This shift in focus helps us to look at our child as more than their sexuality, making communication easier for Christian parents.

There's not a perfect way to do this but there is a better way!

Anger is a secondary emotion so in this episode, we begin to explore some of the thoughts, beliefs, or fears that Christian parents experience when learning that their child is gay that may result in anger.  It's important to name these thoughts/feelings/fears in order to move forward well.  

This episode addresses the emotion of anger that may arise after learning your child is same-sex attracted as well as learning how to move forward if you said something hurtful to your child when you were angry.  It includes not only prayers but also 5 steps to work through those emotions.  My prayer is that you leave more peaceful and with practical tools to help you through this stage.
